A supplement used to help manage the gormation of calcium oxalate bladder stones in dogs. Given orally K-CIT-V increases the citrate levels in the urine, resulting in the calcium binding with the citrate instead of the oxalate. This is a desired result, as calcium citrate tends to stay dissolved whereas calcium oxalate tends to precipitate out as mineral deposit.
Also helps to create alkaline urine, an environment in which calcium oxalate stones have difficulty forming. This patented beef flavored chewable tablet make it easier for clients to dose their dogs which results in increased client compliance and a healthier pet.
