This spray is a ready-to-use liquid insecticide applied directly to the coat of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens with a trigger-style bottle. The formula combines an adulticide with an insect growth regulator so it kills feeding fleas and interrupts development of flea eggs and larvae, while also killing ticks, including deer ticks, and repelling mosquitoes. Owners spray the coat until it is damp, not saturated, taking care around the eyes, mouth and genital areas, then allow it to dry. The product is intended for dogs older than 10 weeks and cats older than 12 weeks, and is typically paired with home and yard treatments for broader pest control. It is unscented and fast-drying, and the container should be stored in a cool, dry area away from children and animals. As a pesticide product, it carries an EPA registration number and label directions that should be followed exactly.
