Advantage Flea & Tick Shampoo for Dogs

This liquid shampoo is formulated for topical use on dogs and puppies 12 weeks of age and older to kill fleas and ticks on contact. The active ingredients are pyrethrins, piperonyl butoxide and an MGK 264 insecticide synergist, working together in a lathering base that also cleans and conditions the coat. Each bottle is a ready-to-use liquid that is applied after wetting the coat with warm water, worked into a rich lather focusing on the ears, neck, tail, legs and footpads, then left to sit briefly before a thorough rinse. It is intended as one part of a broader flea control routine that also addresses the home and yard. The product should not be used more often than once every seven days, and it is not intended for puppies under 12 weeks of age. It is registered with the EPA as a pesticide product and is distributed for topical application only, not for oral use.
