API Algae Eater Wafers for Aquarium

These wafers are built around a blend of algae, including spirulina, along with pea protein, alfalfa meal, whole menhaden fish meal and fish oil to supply protein, fiber and omega-3 fatty acids for algae-eating fish. A natural pre-biotic is included to support the fish's natural defenses, and the recipe is designed so nutrients are more readily absorbed, which can reduce ammonia released into the tank. Each wafer sinks to the bottom of the tank, matching the feeding habits of bottom-dwelling species like plecostomus, ancistrus and otocinclus that graze on surfaces rather than at the water's surface.
