This liquid formula is designed to control a broad range of freshwater algae, including green water blooms and string or hair algae, directly in the aquarium. It is added using the measuring cap included on the bottle, with an initial dose repeated every three days until the algae is under control, followed by a single weekly maintenance dose. The treatment is formulated to work in tanks that contain live plants and fish, and dead algae can be siphoned or scraped out of the tank as it clears. No mixing or setup beyond measuring the correct dose for tank volume is required. The bottle should be stored upright and kept out of reach of children. It is intended for freshwater use only and is not suitable for tanks housing freshwater crustaceans.
