It is pre-cut to drop directly into the media basket of the matching Forza series canister filter, replacing the coarse layer once it becomes saturated with waste. The pad performs in both freshwater and saltwater setups, catching uneaten food, fish waste and other organic debris before it clouds the water column. Each pack contains filter media only; the canister housing, additional filtration stages and any UV components are sold separately. Installing the pad involves opening the canister lid, lifting out the spent media from the tray, and setting the new pad in the same slot before resealing the unit. Routine replacement helps the canister maintain steady flow and keeps the mechanical filtration stage working effectively.
