Aqueon Cichlid Pellets are a slow-sinking pellet food built around shrimp meal, squid meal, kelp and spirulina to appeal to a wide range of cichlid species. The formula is intended to support healthy growth, natural coloration and general vitality as part of a daily feeding routine. Pellets are designed so fish absorb more of what they consume, which is intended to reduce leftover waste and help keep aquarium water clearer when fed as directed. The line is suited to South American, African Rift Lake and other carnivorous cichlids, along with related species such as oscars and discus. Pellets come packaged in a jar or resealable bag depending on size, keeping the food protected between feedings. No mixing, soaking or assembly is required; pellets are simply dispensed into the aquarium at feeding time.
