Aqueon Goldfish Flakes is a dry flake food built around whole fish meal, whole wheat flour and soybean meal, with whole dried krill, kelp meal, spirulina and fish oil rounding out the recipe. Added vitamins, minerals and trace nutrients support a complete daily diet for common goldfish, fancy varieties such as orandas and ryukins, and small koi. The flakes are designed to float at the surface of the water so fish can feed naturally from the top of the tank or pond. Natural pigments from ingredients like astaxanthin and marigold powder contribute to the color of the flakes without added artificial dyes. The formula is manufactured to be more digestible so fish use more of what they consume and produce less waste, helping to keep water from clouding when fed as directed. Each container is a dry flake product intended to be stored at room temperature and fed in small amounts multiple times a day.
