Aqueon Goldfish Granules are a dry, granular diet designed for daily feeding of common goldfish, fancy varieties such as orandas and ryukins, and small koi. The granules gradually sink through the aquarium or pond, giving fish that prefer to feed in the middle or lower water column an easy way to eat. The formula is built around fish meal, grain, and marine ingredients such as kelp and spirulina, with added vitamins, minerals, and trace nutrients to round out a daily diet. Coloration in the granules comes from the ingredients themselves rather than artificial dyes. The recipe is designed to be highly digestible so fish process more of what they consume, which in turn reduces leftover waste in the water. Each container is a dry food that should be stored in a cool, dry location and sealed between feedings to maintain freshness. Feeding only what fish can finish within a few minutes helps keep the aquarium or pond water clear.
