This oral gel supplement is designed for dairy cattle and is intended for use around calving, when mineral demands rise sharply. Each tube delivers a concentrated dose of calcium along with magnesium and cobalt in a neutral-pH gel base formulated to cling in the animal's mouth rather than drip out before it can be swallowed. Citric acid is included to help support absorption of the minerals once administered. The gel is dispensed directly into the back of the mouth using the tube's nozzle, with a hook-style nozzle commonly used to ease application. Herd managers typically give one tube before or after calving and a second tube roughly half a day to a day later. The product carries no meat or milk withdrawal period under labeled use. It ships as a sealed plastic tube and requires no mixing, refrigeration, or additional equipment beyond an applicator, though it should not be frozen.
