Latex loops are lubricated to promote even stretching as they are tightened around the scrotum. A built-in tension indicator signals when the loop has reached the correct tightness, allowing the tool to be adjusted for animals of different sizes rather than relying on a single preset fit. Each kit contains one bander, a dedicated loop cutter, five pre-clipped latex loops, and a carrying case for storage and transport in the field. Beyond castration, the same bander and loop system can be applied to dehorning, tail docking and prolapse procedures in cattle, goats and sheep.
