It is labeled for oral administration in sheep only and is delivered through a drenching gun or dosing syringe calibrated to the animal's current body weight. The recommended dose rate is 3.0 mL per 26 pounds of body weight, delivering 0.2 mg of ivermectin per kilogram. The solution supports control of a range of gastrointestinal roundworms and lungworms at their adult and fourth-stage larval forms, along with all larval stages of nasal bot. Mild coughing may be observed in some sheep during or shortly after drenching. The bottle is intended for use with standard drenching equipment that delivers a consistent dose volume and should be stored at room temperature.
