This formula is an instant powdered diet mixed with water for hand feeding baby birds, including baby parrots such as parakeets, lovebirds, cockatiels, conures, cockatoos, macaws, Amazons, and African greys, as well as baby passerines. It contains balanced levels of protein, fat, and carbohydrates along with added probiotics and digestive enzymes to support gut health and reduce stomach upset during weaning and diet transitions. Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals are included to support brain, heart, and overall development. The formula shares compatible tastes and ingredients with the brand's Conversion and Adult Daily Diets, easing the transition as birds wean onto solid food. It requires no cooking and is prepared fresh before each feeding using a syringe or spoon. The powder should be stored in a cool, dry place and mixed according to package directions before use.
