This oral gel supplies dried bovine colostrum along with several live, naturally occurring microorganisms, including Lactobacillus acidophilus and Lactobacillus casei, to newborn lambs and kids. The colostrum component provides protein and maternal antibodies that support early nutritional status, while the live microorganisms are intended to help establish beneficial microflora in the digestive tract. As these organisms produce lactic acid, they influence a reduction in intestinal pH, creating conditions less favorable for certain coliform bacteria. The formula also includes vitamins A, D3, E and B12 along with trace minerals to support general health during the neonatal period. Packaged in a pre-filled tube, the gel is designed for direct oral administration without mixing or reconstitution. It is typically given as soon as possible after birth, followed by additional doses on the second and third days. The product should be stored at room temperature.
