Lamb & Kid Colostrum Powder is a dry, soluble supplement formulated for newborn sheep and goats. It combines dried bovine colostrum with a blend of live, naturally occurring microorganisms including Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Bifidobacterium bifidum and Enterococcus faecium, along with added Vitamin A, Vitamin D3 and Vitamin E. The powder is packaged in a jar and is intended to be mixed with milk or milk replacer and fed to the newborn as soon as possible after birth. Feeding can continue for as long as the young animal remains on milk or milk replacer. The live microorganisms are included to help establish beneficial gut microflora in the digestive tract of the newborn. The product is intended for animal use only and should be kept out of reach of children.
