Li'l Pals Dog Nail Trimmer

The trimmer combines a stainless steel cutting edge with a molded, easy-grip handle sized for small hands and small paws alike. It is built specifically for puppies, toy breeds, and other petite dogs whose nails require a lighter, more precise clipper than standard-sized tools. To use it, the dog's foot is held firmly and the trimmer is positioned with its screw head facing away from the handler before the tip of the nail is removed in a single stroke, stopping short of the quick, the blood vessel inside the nail. The quick is often easier to spot right after a bath or after a small amount of baby oil has been applied to the nail.
