This lotion is formulated for use on chickens, game birds, and other domestic poultry to help address feather picking and flock cannibalism. The formula combines aloe vera gel, calendula (marigold), tea tree oil, cresylic acid, and coal tar distillate to discourage aggressive pecking while supporting the skin as it heals. The lotion ships in a 4 oz squeeze bottle fitted with an applicator tip, allowing keepers to place the product directly onto bare patches or wounded areas without extra tools. Before each use, the bottle should be shaken well, then inverted and squeezed so the lotion flows through the applicator tip onto the targeted spot. No assembly or mixing is required beyond this shake-and-apply step. The product is intended for external application only and is used as part of ongoing flock management rather than as a single fix.
