This sticky fly trap is a slim, rigid stick with a sticky coating and a bright orange surface designed to draw flying insects in visually. It contains no insecticides, poisons, or hazardous chemicals and is free of added odor, relying instead on color and a sticky surface to capture flies on contact. Each stick comes with a built-in hook so it can be hung from a ceiling, rafter, beam, or other fixture in barns, stables, corrals, or around the home. Placement near a window or light source improves results since flies are drawn toward brighter areas. The stick should be positioned well out of reach of people, pets, and livestock given how sticky the surface remains. Once a large portion of the surface is covered with trapped insects, the stick is removed and discarded, with a replacement hung in its place as needed.
