This pelleted diet blends animal and insect proteins with vegetables and several fruit juices to give sugar gliders a nutrient-dense daily food. Uniform pellets are mixed with a sprinkle of dried fruit pieces, including cranberries, to add variety and encourage complete nutrition rather than selective feeding. The formula is fortified with vitamins A, D and E along with a range of minerals to support overall health, and it contains no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives and no added sugars. It comes packaged as a dry pelleted food that owners can serve directly in a dish alongside fresh water. Uneaten portions should be discarded and dishes cleaned before each feeding, and any new food is best introduced gradually to allow digestive adjustment. The bag is intended as a base diet that can be paired with supplemental fresh foods as part of a varied sugar glider feeding plan.
