Tetra Waterclarifier is a phosphate-free liquid formula designed for use in freshwater and planted aquariums. It works by causing minute suspended particles that cause cloudiness, such as those from overfeeding or gravel dust, to clump together so they can be captured by a power filter or settle for removal during routine gravel cleaning. The formula does not alter pH, bio-filtration, or other water parameters and is intended to be safe for fish, plants, and ornamental species when dosed as directed. It is measured by teaspoon or capful using markings on the bottle and is added directly to aquarium water. Dosing can be repeated if needed, with a waiting period recommended between applications. The product is not intended for invertebrates such as shrimp, crawfish, or snails.
