This spray conditioner is a liquid formula packaged in a pump spray bottle for topical application to skin and haircoat. The active ingredients are chlorhexidine gluconate at 4 percent and hydrocortisone at 1 percent, paired with a TrizEDTA blend of tromethamine and disodium EDTA to help condition the skin barrier. The formula also includes conditioning agents such as aloe vera and dimethicone along with a light fragrance. It can be used as a dry application, sprayed directly onto skin and haircoat and left to air dry, or as a wet application following a bath once excess moisture has been removed. Typical use is one to three times weekly or as otherwise directed by a veterinarian. No mixing or assembly is required beyond shaking the bottle before each use, and the product is intended for topical use only, avoiding the eyes and open wounds.
