This aerosol spray is formulated for spot treatment of carpets, rugs, upholstery, drapes and other fabric surfaces where fleas, ticks, ants and cockroaches may hide. It is intended for use in homes, apartments, garages, kennels, automobiles, pet bedding and furniture. The water-based formula is applied as a fine mist from two to three feet away until the treated surface is slightly damp, and label directions call for vacuuming the area beforehand for best results. A single can is sized to treat a standard indoor area, and reapplication after fourteen days is an option if an infestation persists. The product combines an insect growth regulator with adulticide ingredients so it addresses both active pests and future development from eggs and larvae. It is intended for application to premises and surfaces rather than directly onto a pet.
