This liquid remedy blends Canada balsam, camphor, oil of origanum and oil of rosemary in a corn oil base with a small amount of alcohol. It is intended for both internal and external application on poultry, and is commonly used to support birds experiencing colds, scaly legs, or eye irritation, as well as a conditioning aid before shows. The formula is typically warmed before use by placing the sealed bottle in a pan of warm water, then applied directly, mixed into drinking water, or diluted into warm water as a solution. Owners can place drops down the throat, rub the warmed liquid over the head and under the wings, or add it to a flock's water supply. The bottle includes a dropper-style cap intended to make measuring and application easier. Always test the temperature of the warmed product before applying it to a bird.
