The Zilla Aquatic Reptile Internal Filter mounts inside a turtle or aquatic amphibian habitat using suction cups, drawing water through a replaceable carbon cartridge that traps waste, debris and odor. A Bio-Holster cartridge holder inside the unit gives beneficial bacteria a place to colonize, adding biological filtration alongside the carbon media. A protective grate covers the intake so animals cannot enter the filter body. Setup requires no tools; the unit is pressed against the interior glass and held in place by its suction cups. Replacement cartridges are sold separately and are matched to the filter size in use. Two capacity options let keepers match the filter to the water volume in their terrarium.
