Yes, the Assisi LOOP Lounge can be used while it is plugged in and charging. This means that even if the battery runs out during a treatment session, you can continue using it without any interruption.

1. Charge the battery with the included 110V Charge Cord. The battery is fully charged when no lights are displayed on the front of the Controller Box.
2. Connect the end of the wire coming from the Therapy Pad into the "Bed Out" port. Ensure the prongs inside the circle align precisely with the holes in the controller box. When connecting the Lounge, the arrows on the cable connector should be facing up. Do not force the connection.
3. Press the POWER button on the Controller Box to activate the treatment. When the treatment is activated, the ACTIVITY STATUS LIGHT will flash blue. If it blinks red, verify that the connections between the controller box and the pad are secure and properly aligned.
4. After the 15-minute treatment, the LOOP Lounge will automatically turn itself off. To treat for fewer than 15 minutes, press the POWER button to turn the device off.

The Assisi LOOP Lounge is designed for easy disassembly when cleaning is needed. To safely and effectively clean its parts, follow these steps. Keep in mind that the electronics are not waterproof, so exercise caution around the Assisi LOOP Lounge's sensitive components.

1. Ensure the Assisi LOOP Lounge is powered off. Unplug the Lounge from the Controller Box. 
2. Remove the Assisi LOOP Lounge pad from the BuddyRest cover* and inner white liner. Carefully remove the wire cable.
3. Gently clean the affected area of the pad using a soft brush with soap and water to eliminate solid particles and odors. Follow this by wiping with a soft cloth moistened with 70% Isopropyl alcohol. Note that LOOP Lounge components are not waterproof, so avoid immersion.
4. Wait 15 minutes after cleaning before operating the unit.

• Avoid using the Assisi LOOP Lounge within 12 inches of large metal objects (metal crates, stainless steel tables, etc.), as doing so may reduce its beneficial effects. Should you use the LOOP Lounge in a pet bed or carrier, check that it contains no metal components (such as the door, frame, or door) that could disrupt the patented LOOP signal and diminish product efficacy.
• Do not leave pets unsupervised while using the LOOP Lounge. Pets may chew on the bed or cables, rendering the bed inoperable, and the pet may be injured.
• Avoid standing on or bending the Assisi LOOP Lounge, which can damage its internal components.
• Assisi LOOP Lounge components do not have user-serviceable parts. Opening the Controller Box may damage the delicate internal electronics and void your warranty.
• While the BuddyRest cover is water-resistant, the other components are not waterproof. Use care around liquids. Do not immerse in water - the Assisi LOOP Lounge is not waterproof.
• Equipment NOT SUITABLE FOR USE IN THE PRESENCE OF FLAMMABLE ANESTHETIC MIXTURE WITH AIR or WITH OXYGEN or NITROUS OXIDE or OXYGEN ENRICHED ATMOSPHERES.
• Pulsed electromagnetic therapy SHOULD NOT BE USED on patients or by individuals who have ANY implanted system that may contain an electrical lead, such as a pacemaker.
• Air Travel Advisory: Similar to other medical or electronic devices (such as CPAP machines, cell phones, or laptops), the Assisi LOOP Lounge is subject to TSA screening regulations for carry-on items. You may need to remove the tPEMF Therapy Controller box, place it in a bin, and send it through the TSA scanner.

• For better battery health, operate the Assisi LOOP Lounge and Controller box while unplugged from the power supply when the battery is fully charged. This will allow the battery to discharge before it needs to be recharged properly. 
• If the orange BATTERY STATUS LIGHT starts flashing, it means the Controller Box battery is nearing the end of its lifespan. Please contact Customer Service for guidance. The battery is expected to last for approximately 6,000 treatments.
• The Assisi LOOP Lounge will not operate at or below the temperature of 0° F (-17° C).
• When not in use, store the Assisi LOOP Lounge in a dry environment with temperatures between 3° F (-16° C) and 104° F (40° C). Long-term exposure to heat and cold will compromise battery life and may result in battery failure.
• The tPEMF Therapy Pad Controller Box in the Assisi LOOP Lounge is powered by Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) batteries. Please adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines for proper disposal.
