In the 1950s, McCauley's Feeds experienced significant growth and change. Graham McCauley transformed their Kentucky-based farm store into an equine-focused feed business, recognizing the value of the equine industry in the region. In 1965, they officially transitioned to equine-only feed manufacturing, specializing in horse feed ingredients. They prioritized feed quality and safety by eliminating medications and ionophores from their property and maintaining strict ingredient-supply standards. With a passion for Thoroughbred horses, they continue to provide wholesome and effective nutrition to horses, including Olympians and Triple Crown winners. McCauley's, along with parent company Alltech, also contributes to sustainable production practices for a Planet of Plenty.
